Are you read for the V.A.T. change?

From the 4th of January 2011 the standard rate of VAT will increase from 17.5% to 20% as part of the Chancellor’s tough measures to improve the economy.

The question is are you ready for it?

Unfortunately we can’t do anything about the increase but we can help your company be ready for it.  We are presently providing a free two-part software update to all of our clients who use the MatchMaker invoicing module:

• Part 1 is being installed before 4th January and will include 20% in the list of VAT rates available in MatchMaker’s Invoice Manager program.  This will ensure that the default rate remains at 17.5% for now and that you can select 20% from 4th January and thereby comply with the new rate.

• Part 2 will be installed during January, changing the default to 20% thereafter.
