Every recruiter knows the feeling: the information you need is in the system, but it's three clicks away, in the wrong order or hidden behind a search you've already run a dozen times today. This quarter, our users told us exactly where those clicks were being wasted.

You asked, we delivered is our quarterly look at the ideas from MatchMaker users that have made it into the software. Every suggestion comes from a recruiter, a payroll team or one of our own support and account staff who saw a way to make the working day easier.

A dashboard that works the way you do

• Dashboard widgets can now be re-ordered with drag and drop, so the numbers that matter most to you sit at the top.
• New KPI widgets bring your KPI tracker onto the dashboard. Targets set to zero are now handled cleanly too.
• The Placement Tracker widget now shows the fee, not just the salary.

Less clicking, more recruiting

• Email addresses are now clickable links in the birthday list, suspected duplicates, sales pipeline, contact search and the confirmation and timesheet wizards.
• When adding a contact log, the job search now only shows jobs for the client you've selected.
• Candidate screening remembers the columns you add and how you arrange them.
• Talent banks now work for temporary jobs: keep a list of each client's favourite workers and quick-add them straight to a job.

Compliance and onboarding you can rely on

• Visa type can now be made a mandatory field, so student working-hours reporting is always based on complete records.
• When Epsilon onboarding changes a candidate's owner, a contact log entry now records it, so registrations can be reported by consultant.
• Client and candidate portals now offer a show-password option at login.
